Globals

Globals are data that apply to all clients.

Changes made to the Globals are immediately¹² propagated to all clients.

Views

Main

Shows the global inflation rate and the income tax rates.

Portfolios

The portfolios are avaliable for selection when adding/editing a client.

The values on this table are used to calculate the client's return on investment over the years.

Kiwisaver

The values on this table are used to calculate the KiwiSaver contributions as displayed on the Kiwisaver Tables.

These numbers must be kept up to date with the official numbers.

NZSuper

The values on this table will be available for selection when adding a NZSuper transaction.

These numbers must be kept up to date with the official numbers.

Edit

To edit the globals, click on the Edit button on the top right corner.

Save

To save your changes, click on the Save button at the bottom.

Discard

To discard your changes, you can navigate back or click on the sidebar and your changes won't be saved.

The data input comes in two forms: Single values and Table values.

Single values are straightforward to edit and don't need special instructions.

Table values

The interface to edit table values is comprised of four basic features:

1. The number on the left indicating the row number
2. The editable field(s)
3. The Remove button on the right
4. The Add button at the bottom
